Who is the program for?
This program is a therapeutic response to aggression management. It is designed to train carers to defend themselves when their clients, who may have dementia, attack them.
Who is being protected?
The key to this training is to keep the client safe and the carer safe. We have developed a non-violent defence system to help carers protect themselves when their clients are:
* Hitting
* Punching
* Kicking
* Biting
* Scratching
* Pulling hair
* Spitting
The key is to avoid the attack in the first place by positioning yourself correctly and for the carer to respond reasonably and lawfully to an attack. When carers lose control of their emotions the clients can get hurt and the carer could be charged with assault. The employer could then be sued and the business brand could be damaged. This training is designed to prevent injuries to carers and clients, lawsuits, bad publicity, and damaged brands.

$250 per person
